Special Edition: Kaido the Beast & Big Mom Look Up Figure

The relationship between Big Mom (Charlotte Linlin) and Kaido (Kaido of the Beasts) is a complex mix of rivalry, alliance, and shared history. Both belong to the Yonko, the most powerful pirates in the world, and have a long history dating back to their time with the legendary Rocks Pirates under Captain Rocks D. Xebec. During that time, they worked together as young pirates, with Big Mom even helping Kaido by giving him the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu (Fish-Fish Fruit, Azure Dragon), which granted him his dragon powers.

After the fall of the Rocks Pirates, they went their separate ways, each building a vast pirate empire. Yet they remained rivals, often clashing over territory and power. Their clashing personalities—Big Mom's domineering and often capricious nature versus Kaido's brute strength and nihilistic philosophy—made their interactions explosive.

In the Wano Country arc, they form a temporary alliance known as the Big Mom-Kaido Alliance, with the goal of conquering the world and finding the One Piece. While this partnership shows their combined power, tension and distrust remain between them, with both Yonko willing to betray each other to achieve their own goals.
